Breastfeeding Care from Pregnancy to Weaning
What is the Golden Hour?
In the world of maternity care, “the golden hour” refers to the first moments a baby spends on his mother’s body just after birth. The intimate physical connection supports him as he orients to the world, and this sense of security is what we will build during our time together.

What you will find here
While you are here, you will experience total attention from a kind and non-judgmental listener. My goal is to help you feel confident in the choices you are making, whatever they are. We will find a way to keep you and your baby safe, happy, and healthy, however that looks for you. Here, you belong.
Everyone is welcome.
If you intend to lactate, this is a safe place for you to seek support.

Hi, I’m Rachel.
I'm a lactation consultant located in Wilmington, Delaware and a single mother to two sons. Yes, I nursed them both. (Yes, for years.) I’m passionate about many things, one of the primary being mothers and people who birth babies. Helping them discover how amazing their bodies are through breastfeeding is deeply fulfilling, as is accompanying couples as they learn to parent together, growing closer and becoming stronger.
