Investment

Because it is a learned behavior, it can take multiple visits with a skilled professional to establish and maintain breastfeeding. This is an investment in your health, your baby’s health, and your relationship with your baby that can pay dividends indefinitely. What’s more, you will benefit from support through the process to help you determine the best balance for your family.

Fortunately, health insurance is an option for many families.

The Golden Hour is in-network with Aetna and Cigna. Contact us if you or your baby have either of these.

We also work with a third party, The Lactation Network, who has negotiated contracts with a number of other insurers in Delaware. Find out if you’re covered here.

In the event your plan is not included through one of these avenues, we will provide a superbill for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Per the Affordable Care Act, breastfeeding support must be covered for the duration of breastfeeding with no cost sharing.

We will bill your credit card the evening of your session.
