Hi, I’m Rachel.
I'm a lactation consultant located in Wilmington, Delaware and a single mother to two sons. Yes, I nursed them both. (Yes, for years.) I’m passionate about many things, one of the primary being mothers and people who birth babies. Helping them discover how amazing their bodies are through breastfeeding is deeply fulfilling, as is accompanying couples as they learn to parent together, growing closer and becoming stronger.
A former globetrotter, I’ve lived and worked on three continents, visited ancient funeral pyres on the Ganges, and earned a master’s degree in journalism in the UK. (Biggest by-line: Esquire.) I'm a recent homeowner (finally!), polyglot, doula at heart, and native plant nut. My professional experience similarly spans multiple arenas: international development, hospitality, digital marketing, and now with you, in the world of maternity and newborn care.

Tayler will be your point of contact between visits, providing assistance and relaying information to me as needed. She helps keep everything up and running behind the scenes.
I'm an accountant by education and experience, but as a mother to two wonderful (and small) children, I have recently embraced this season of life by dedicating time to work that feel meaningful and fulfilling, which is why I'm so thrilled to be a part of this practice. Breastfeeding has been deeply important to me during my own motherhood journey.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me in the garden, experimenting in the kitchen, or crafting something new. I also have a passion for house renovations and love bringing fresh ideas to life in my home. When I’m not busy creating, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking with my dog and family.
